Owen's Lake (so-called anyway)
Kids playing ball at the field behind McDonalds in Lone Pine, CA. Not a bad place to play, huh?

Heading up the road towards the Baxter Pass Trailhead.
Sometimes the voices tell me to do weird things. :)
Leaving the Baxter Pass trailhead at 6,000 ft, I only got to 8,000 ft before hitting deep enough snow that I turned around. I was curious where the snow line would be.
The appearance of the landscape is fascinating to me. Definitely a strange but rugged looking place. I look forward to going over Baxter Pass this year and down to the JMT.
